LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest basketball player ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James has won four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs along with the two Olympic medals. James is the NBA All-Star with the highest number of playoff points. He also has with the second most points in his career total, and seventh-highest ever assist number. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was picked as a member of his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The third most number in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011-2018. James was named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He was the NBA's first player with 10,000 points, rebounds and assist in 2022. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated him as an NBA star. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie Of The Year, he soon established himself as an elite player in the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010 James, who failed to be crowned the champion in Cleveland in 2010, was released as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was made clear by the book The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a free agent in sports history.
